Maple Butter

1/2 C softened butter

1/4 C maple syrup

Mix butter and maple syrup with electric mixer until blended. Serve on toast, cracker or warm muffins. Yield: about 3/4 cup

Note of interest– true maple butter (cream) does not contain any butter!
